So *if* this is the Mk 2 Stage, all the changes are under the hood - a good thing - as to my eyes, externally looks exactly like the current Stage (?)

Or am I missing something obvious (?)

Its also not the same pic from the original Instagram post. Unless there will be an entire mk2 line of lunchbox, rack, and stage

Could be. Kemper seems to announce news decently quick it seems so I'm sure we will all find out soon

I think its just different color / depth / saturation etc..... settings in the images (?)

It would seem (?) strange that a MK 2 "looks" exactly like a MK 1 but its C.K and he just doesn't think like others in the field.

Maybe save "box" cost changes to divert all $$ to under the hood changes and retain profit margins <- if you think about it, a very smart business move ... a genuine win/win

Although, the top unit has an attached circle

to the Output Button whereas the bottom one doesn't

If it's truly just upgrades like efx chain and dual profiles (while cool) it just feels like they are trying to get every single last drop at the expense of their customer base.

It feels like they are stagnant while cheaper, more accurate competition is moving forward. Obviously I may eat my words but I'm not holding my breath on Kemper mkii

The only thing that would get me excited about kemper is if there was a vst app to run the profiles. I just personally don’t need a dedicated capture device with its own ecosystem (same applies to nano cortex as well). Would be cool if ndsp or kemper offered this.

Apparently Kemper did not get the memo about making things more compact

Yeah, agreed.
I think the idea captures are obviously a really great thing, but it makes way more sense IMO to be able to load them into a plugin, not just 'only in our hardware.'
