Neither do I. It sure seems like a lot of businesses simply don't believe that customers will stop buying their products if they are being treated badly. Fanboy culture may give them that impression, but I would be surprised if it is actually accurate.Companies used to use forums as a way to attract and retain customers. Now it seems to be more of a tool to drive customers away, and certainly not limited to Kemper or MI. I simply don’t get it.
I would of course assess these on a case-by-case basis. I wouldn't be put off from a company's product just because they don't keep their fanboys on a short enough leash.
