It finally happened.

He has roadies, right? Pretty sure ol' Guthrie ain't schleppin' that beastie on his lonesome... :idk
Oh, undoubtedly. We're acting like it's unusually heavy for a 4x12, though. At 94 pounds, it's lighter than a 4x12 rectifier cab.

In any case, I think one of you guys should buy one and let us all know how it sounds.

How about an old crate power block + whatever cheapest cab you can find locally?
The Crate Power Block is a lot more transparent than those Quilters, the CPB just pumps out what you put in it.
I borrowed one from a good friend in 2015, when my amp went capoot and I had gigs to do.
Later, I got two from Reverb and use two to play in stereo mode at 150 watts per side. And it pumps out those two 12ax7 tubes from my 2112 and two 12ax7 tubes from my VHT Valvulator 1's like any real tube amp in a way modern Modelers can't.

The power block was ahead of its time.As far as form factor and loudness, compared to size goes. Biggest issue with it was you needed that stupid y adapter for the aux in iirc and then the never ending mystery of whether it does or does not have cabinet emulation baked in.

Mine has RCA inputs and stereo FX returns for stereo inputs and the cab modeling is only baked in if you used the preamp, but apparently there were two different signal flow diagrams floating around the internet and nobody knows how to tell which is which.

Yeah, I solved that mystery a time or five but can never remember what is the definitive answer.

I had the purple 2120, but I got lots of good tones out of that Digitech in the day. The routing on it was way ahead of its time! I can't remember the name of it, but someone created a 3rd party tool to graphically configure the 2112 and 2120 with that I used on my PC with MIDI I believe.

Sold my VHT UL, 2120 and a bunch of pedalboard stuff to buy my current Kemper Rack (and later foot controller) in 2013, but up till then, that was my gig rig. Those VHT cabs with P90's in them were HEAVY! The head wasn't light either ;).

What did I say about scooping mids out of your tone? How no one can hear you when you do the Death Scoop? Eh?
