IRs: what do you use LIVE - single mics or blends?

I use blends, generally one or two mic irs and I mix a little bit of room ir (same cab pack of course).
I think it gives a better breath to the tone than a reverb.

Just one mic and one room here. (Solo Dallas h30)

I'm using the Helix's new SM7

The SM7 is my favourite mic (by far) in the Helix cab block. It seems to me it's more "open" and well balanced in all the frequency range.

I like the ones with two 57s. Fredman technique is really awesome for lower gain tones, too.

I've been running the R121s on each side with the Fractal Dynacabs. It's what my ears like the most.

I use both, but blends more than anything. It doesn’t matter which I use, I’m gonna dial the amp in to fit in the mix about the same way.
