Not a fan of painting necks.

Not how I want a 510T to be set up , it works but this is more for a Wilkinson style set up . In fact I would ship this with the VS1300 .

That’s not a great fit either at £8k.

More like a Mexican fender.
In its favour ; it sounds and plays amazing but.

Ugly headstock, uglier logo all over it

Crammed and unergonomic control layout

Crappy bridge setup

Stupid hum cancelling dummy coil setup that looks like it has to rob tone

and poor fit and finish.

Hmmm, I wouldn't pay $800 for that guitar, the $8000 or whatever asking prices are just plain insane.

Okay play it and you might.
The control setup works and sounds excellent.
Fit and finish on the neck pocket is unusually lacking but the rest is perfect. Bridge setup is one size fits all which I don’t like either.
As a musical instrument it is still exceptional but with some issues.

I would really like to play one of these some time. I know I am officially getting old since the headstock doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. Still don’t care for it.

What might I like? The neck would have to feel beyond amazing for me to drop $800 on that guitar.

The hardware looks like it is all high quality, I'll give it that, but nothing you can't put on any guitar/parts caster for a few hundred bucks.

The buttons surrounding the switch look awful. Three jammed between the switch and the pots, and then one off floating under the mid pickup? Those would have to be relocated which would be a mess.

And it came in for new pickups? I am not seeing anything in those photos that says high end custom guitar to me. That neck pocket and bridge actually look worse than Squier Classic Vibe level quality. More like mass production rushed out the door build.

What could possibly make it worth $8,000 let alone $800?

A pickup swap for lower output on the bridge.
The rest of your comments just show you have no clue.

So basically, you can't articulate why that guitar is worth more than 1/10th the asking price? Come on, what about it is better than the many high(er) quality guitars available for half the price or less?

There has to be something that would make you accept the glaring flaws so what is it?

Playability, sound , wood selection, the best thick fender style neck in the business. Perfect fretwork. Everything is selected to work . It weighs around 6lb and every note rings like a bell. This one has rare defects granted and I would not accept them but it is still an outstanding guitar as a musical instrument.

Oh and the button default positions are flush and out of the way . The rest of the layout is very much where you would want it to be. Once again a few minutes playing one and you wouldn’t have mentioned it. The position of the bridge plate is actually common, so is the hight being fixed to accommodate different bridges without alternative geometry. This is not ideal imo but on many high end instruments.
