Even with staggered tuners it can be useful to keep the B/E string tree.

I've found that the string trees don't necessarily cause that many issues, namely feel like I have the same level of tuning issues on non-double locking bridges. I have changed the ones on my guitars to Graphtech so that might help a bit, but it might be just placebo.

You may need an 1/8 turn looser on the truss rod too.

Thank you for all your Expertise and Input

Any other suggestion ?

I have Kluson Replacement Contemporary String Guides on my Jazzmaster:

They don't have rollers, but they've never caused me issues. I put a bit of lube on the underside when I restring, but I have no idea if that's effective or not - there was a time when I didn't lube and the performance seems no different.

Vibrato arm gets used constantly, because Jazzmaster. That particular guitar is ridiculously stable: Stays in tune for weeks at a time.

Incidentally, I first saw these string trees on one of Fender's modern Strat models back in 2015 when I built my partscaster, but I can't remember what model it was; so they have been used on Strats for sure.

You'll laugh, but the hardest task when assembling my partscaster was accurately drilling the pilot hole for that damn string tree screw and the little hole for the positioning nub. That tree nub on that part is a nice detail though - I love that the tree will never be wonky.

Looks modern and tidy to my eye. Here it is on my Jazzmaster:

Rollers can work but they need to be smooth in operation and the angle still needs to be shallow. How is it with the strings just not going under the ones you have?
