Ahhh, nice! Those are on my list of "potentials", but BKP with covers I like, are, like many things atm, hard to find. If I place a direct order, I have to pay full price, wait forever and pay import duty.

So I keep watching Reverb like a freak!

There are some uncovered Warpigs available really cheap (for BKP), but I'm afraid of them. May be toooo high output. Still think my BKP Ceramic Nailbomb is my ideal bridge pickup, at least until it gets dethroned by something else.

Ok, well, BKP knows how to sucker me in! Today, they added these uncovered Holy Divers with orange poles/screws/bases.

These are on the way for mine, they should look pretty damn cool!

Yeah, I think Tim @ BKP has been watching my forum posts, and knew I was 'on the fence', so far! At today's meeting: "Well we have Warmart with an orange guitar, he's been watching the 'limited editions page', what's 'the play' for us?" Pretty sure I've been checking their one-offs, daily, and they weren't there last time, lol. Holy Divers weren't my 1st choice, but they actually sound pretty close to a Nailbomb, so I'm sure I'll love them.

@Eagle - what output jack did you use? It's much longer than I thought (TWSS) and I can't find a longer shaft black Pure Tone.

I found a Switchcraft 152B, looks like it will fit!

I use the long shaft stereo jack and wire the ring to ground. Same effect as the pure tone but I have done this for years. It makes a better ground connection on metric equivalent jacks. I hate barrel jacks even the good ones are shity.

I’m thinking of grabbing on and putting a set of Dimarzio Transitions in it. I have that set in my Wolfgang and they are pretty nice.

But if you want it to compare with high end headless guitars this is the only way to get there. Or other similar priced pickups. We could do a thread about mid to budget pickups but none of them can compete with BK for higher gains with clarity.

That's 10000% my experience with my two sets of BKP's (C-Nailbomb/VHII and Silo set). Unreal clarity under uber gain, like Revv Genn or Fortin Nameless.

Hence the reason I have 3 more sets incoming. Polymath coming today for PRS 594, Holy Diver for HILS and Ragnarock for Legator.

Not just mine, have heard it from lots of people. Not saying there aren't OTHER pickups that can do it. The proprietary "HT" pickups in 3 of my EBMM's are better than any others I've tried, but still have a bit too much hair/hiss that I could do without. None of the DiMarzios I have can, the Duncan Distortion couldn't, the Fishman Wil Adlers can't either (which really surprised me, but then I don't think LOG is really that gainy anymore).

I mean, I'm playing with myself , and I want a big sound to make up for this, so I'm serious when I say I'm playing HIGH gain. I doubt you are, but hell, I could be wrong! I'm often wrong, lol.

So... Apparently Schecter are unveiling a headless later this month. If it's of a price similar to a HILS and BKP then that's what I'll get.
