That is terrible. Absolutely none of the advantages of a headless design in what looks like a headless design.

The Seymour Duncan Scarlett / Scourge pickups are some of the better "clarity under gain" pickups I've used. They were designed expressly for that.Not just mine, have heard it from lots of people. Not saying there aren't OTHER pickups that can do it. The proprietary "HT" pickups in 3 of my EBMM's are better than any others I've tried, but still have a bit too much hair/hiss that I could do without. None of the DiMarzios I have can, the Duncan Distortion couldn't, the Fishman Wil Adlers can't either (which really surprised me, but then I don't think LOG is really that gainy anymore).
I mean, I'm playing with myself, and I want a big sound to make up for this, so I'm serious when I say I'm playing HIGH gain. I doubt you are, but hell, I could be wrong! I'm often wrong, lol.
Fat chance, brother! But a huge discount coupon would be appreciated.
Still, the BKPs are king.

Damn TOM bridge thumbscrews have a tendency to move when you're doing pickup swaps!
