If You Like Japanese Burny LP Guitars ?

Burny connoisseurs, what would you choose? A brand new Heritage Ascent+ Collection H-150 for $770, or a second hand Burny Les Paul 1976 Japan Lawsuit Era for $893? (maybe negotiable). Everyone is praising the Heritage above Gibson, but I am curious about that Burny, which is labeled as collectible and high quality.

I’m biased as a multi-Burny owner, but it seems like every Burny (and Tokai for that matter) I pick up feels like an incredible example of a Les Paul. I’m less familiar with 70s models though.

Do you know what model the burny is? The specs are pretty different.

This is all the information that the vendor has: "1976 Burny, Les Paul, Law Suit, Cherry Sunburst".

The serial number is hard to read

Here is the ad with all the pictures. It is a little bit far from my place, so I should be quite determined before I go to try it.

I didn't know Heritage did models made outside of the USA ones, I'd never heard of their ascent range before.

I found some models on the Tokai forum which share a lot of features with the Burny. Personally I'd be more inclined to go for the Burny but the amount of pieces of mahogany, maple and finish etc are all model dependent. Without better pics it's really hard to tell specific specs. It could also be a boat anchor weight wise. If you can go and look at the Burny it could be a decent guitar for the money.
