I really like how he talks down to the viewer as if they did something wrong and he’s really going out of his way to impart all this information, takes 10 minutes to do all these dumb hand/arm movements and then when he goes to demonstrate it, he just picks a little harder with absolutely none of the movements he was displaying previously.

I almost fell off my couch laughing at this last week.

hahaha and it's funny, because... Uncle Larry comes across really humble. I hear his voice "There's just something special about bursts".

By the way.... I have never heard a real cranked up tube amp (okay, maybe at some concerts but that's it).

I have this Super Reverb in helix at freakin' gain 7.8 and the master at 4.7

Why is that thing still clean OR is that how a cranked Super Reverb sounds?

Hahahahha well, like ya said, he had the talking points and general idea down, he just kind of abandoned them when it came time to demonstrate it. Or he could have just made a video saying “SRV picks pretty hard in general but also utilizes a ton of dynamics”, but I have the feeling this dude has some serious narcissism issues.

It didn’t start with Tom, just ended up there. He takes major issues with the praise ‘59 Bursts get, especially if someone mentions anything about them being “the best year for a Les Paul”. He made a long ass video shitting on Jason Isabell for that $650K Burst he bought and someone sent it to Tom, Tom responded to it and then the guy started melting down. Doesn’t seem he’s finished quite yet.

This is precisely why social media can be REALLY fucking bad for people with mental health issues. Now that he’s getting attention and gained a bunch of subscribers (who are mostly there for the meltdown) he thinks he’s got support behind him and he’s delivering nonstop truth bombs.

Well, that's the scary thing about those people. They get obsessed with you. And there is nothing you can really do about it because they are mentally disturbed.

We had a woman as a neighbor who became psychotic. She would bonk the walls at night trying to wake all her neighbors up while screaming "CALL THE POLICY YOU IDIOTS" and all kinds of crazy stuff. She became hospitalized. The most crazy part was when she came back. The sweetest lady, like nothing had happened. Total different person. Best is to just avoid and leave it to the professionals. Unfortunately the internet gave some of these people also an outlet (not saying this guy is THAT crazy)
