Hey digital igloo .. i must say

Yamaha is some kind of a sure bet.

I've got a cheap mixer (MG06X) that I use professionally for live shows when there's just a singer, backing tracks and little more else. It always deliver exceptionally well, while being small and simple.

I also own a classical guitar NCX3, all solid, and I absolutely love it.

But I bought for dirt cheap a used acoustic FG800 (yeah, I think it's the most sold acoustic guitar of all times), and compared to my high end Larrivee it keeps its ground. Of course, I prefer the Larrivee, but the differences are mostly in nuances that could perfectly vary with tastes. To be honest, I upgraded the nut and saddle for bone ones, and made a detailed adjustment for my liking. I also installed a pickup (similar to a K&K) so it gets superbly effective for plugged gigs... I can use it for big gigs knowing it will deliver just the same as a high end acoustic.

It's quite hard not to love Yamaha's consistency.

Then it's Line6. Another Yamaha selling point. It's not easy to find a weak point in that company.

That said, yes, we've been talking with YCJ about some stuff, but it may or may not have anything to do with multieffects.
Your mission for 2025, should you choose to accept it, is to persuade Yamaha to take another stab at the THR100HD head. That was so close to being something great.

If YCJ would like help with a new THR head, Montage synth, digital mixer, motorcycle—whatever—I'm game.
If Yamaha can help you model the experience I had sitting on one of their jet skis in the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean 30 summers ago, then I’d gladly plug my guitar into that.

And even though I’ve harped on it a million times, I can’t help to say it again- Yamaha makes great PA speakers and studio monitors. Collaborating with them for "FRFR" and whatnot seems like a no brainer.

So i have a fg800c the gfc-ta . The a1rc a3rc and a5rc and a taylor 114ce. I had the fg800j but didnt like the shorter scale. And have the tagc-3 on order. Bought these all last month snd will only be returning the a1rc as ot cost more then the fgc-ta i just bought and doesnt sound as good to me plus none of the cool effects which really are fun to make music with.
