help me find a good auto wah - like Klaus Dinger's sound on Neu!'s Hallogallo

Hi everyone -

I'm after an auto-wah that behaves like a manual wah-wah pedal, but also has a deep sweep of tone top to bottom. But I'd also ideally like a random sweep option, rather than the more usual very predictable, cyclical sweep. I could perhaps be looking for some sort of envelope filter type effect, to be honest - however, right now, I think an auto-wah type effect is probably what I'm hoping to find.

I don't want anything that heads down an overtly digital, synthesiser sort of effect - but I'm certainly not ruling that kind of thing out.

The kind of effect I'd ideally like to get is like that on Neu!'s Hallogallo:

I’ve just seen this thread .
Did you manage to find an Auto Wah to do it for you ?
Not sure if there sounds can be done without a foot ?
I’m a big fan and got this excellent vinyl box set direct from the band many years ago now including a bright orange T shirt for free.
