I will crap myself if that shows up in one of the early firmwares , if not there is also proxy in the new year
Wow that’s like a huge defect if true that they should have been ironed out in the stadiumI guess none of you had (or noticed) a tone suck of pure guitar signal with Helix. I had it with my LT. Going to the LT and then to an amp, with empty chain, 1M impedance (any impedance, actually), the signal got somehow "cushioned". Very difficult to explain, and very subtle. But it didn't happen with a Zoom G1Four (empty chain). That was what finally made me to sell it.
So in the wishlist... I would ask a totally transparent treatment of the input signal.
For me the #1 thing is just improved reverbs.
There are other things, like I’d love some of the advanced “parts swapping” (tubes, tone stacks, etc) options Fractal has, as well as things like modulators (especially envelope!!)… but with how good the Agoura amps sound, it’s really reverbs for me most of all.
I’m pretty well set on switching to Fractal very soon, but the Stadium just looks SO FUN, and I think even just the prospect of better reverbs would get me to stick with Helix. I know they can’t talk about future things, but it would be really cool if they at least dropped a hint about this being a planned thing lol
I have to say that the existing reverbs sound... improved? I mean, I listen to the Yvette young demo and the one from guitar guitar, and there's just a little bit more crispness and airiness than what I'm I'm used to hearing from the HX reverbs.
I had kind of thrown the towel in on the Glitz/ Searchlights/Double Tank–era of reverbs (I've been using the Dynamic ones exclusively), but they sound pretty damn good on the latest Stadium demos.
They did sound good! Though I feel like I’ve also experienced that with current models (them sounding better in demoes than in practice). I feel that way about reverb a lot though: I’m more sensitive to elements I don’t like when actually dealing with them directly (whether when playing or in a mixing / production scenario).
I’ll be really curious to see what some of our pickier reverb fans say when they get their preorders!
Also, if they have been improved somehow, it would be cool if L6 could confirm that!
I was wondering if the extra oversampling doesn't help as well. I didn't get to listen to her with headphones yet, but I would think (danger, will robinson) that having a lower sampling artifact floor would tend to lead to cleaner reverb trails.I don't think they've been improved, algorithmically-speaking. The increased headroom and better converters probably are doing the heaviest lifting. I just know that Glitz sounds a little better than I ever got it to sound on Helix.
Could be the converters?I have to say that the existing reverbs sound... improved? I mean, I listen to the Yvette young demo and the one from guitar guitar, and there's just a little bit more crispness and airiness than what I'm I'm used to hearing from the HX reverbs.

- All IRs are converted to 2048 samples. Or do you mean higher than 2048?- higher resolution for IRs
- external clock sync option for S/PDIF
- Yes, 42ms feels a little short...- All IRs are converted to 2048 samples. Or do you mean higher than 2048?
