After posting the same advice over and over and over throughout the last years (and for several times just during the last hours), I decided to post this here, so I can just link to it (it's also missing in any official Line 6 documentation, at least in a direct, straight ahead form). Yep. I have been doing it that way since like 2.8 but this last one 3.60 did not work until I used HX Edit for whatever reason. I kept getting no audio output, patches wouldn't save in their last state after resetting, freezing etc etc. Even when I was beta testing for Line6 I never had those kinds of troubles. It drove me nuts. Luckily it was sorted because I was ready to send it out to get it fixed.

To be clear I completely wiped out all Line6 software on my Win10 box with Revo Pro and re-installed before I tried again.
