Helix equivalent of Kemper's "Space" reverb?

For those who've used both Kemper and Helix, what's the closest thing to the Kemper "Space" reverb on the Helix?

All of my Kemper presets have a Space block in the reverb slot. I don't need a lot of reverb; in fact, the church space where I've played most often in the past has a massive reverb of its own, so adding more before my signal hits the PA could be counterproductive. I really need only enough reverb to make my tones not sound bone-dry in the IEMs, and Kemper's Space reverb ("the natural reflections of a small, neutral-sounding room") is perfect for that. Now I'm looking at possibly gigging with my Helix LT instead, and I'd like to find the closest thing there.

I am currently eying:
  • Dynamic Ambience
  • Legacy Room
  • Legacy Ducking
Legacy Ducking seems perfect on paper for this, but there's almost nothing about it in any of the various Helix tutorials online.

Thoughts?

Legacy room is really good especially if you tweak the parameters. Legacy tile is surprisingly really cool as well once you dial the mix down. Dynamic ambience is probably the modern version of the Space reverb, if you increase the room size especially.

In the POD Express, there's a "Space" reverb which is the legacy Cave reverb from Helix. It's surprisingly effective at mimicking room ambience, specially if you keep the mix down.

Otherwise, yeah, i agree that Dynamic Ambience is probably your best bet. Sounds great, and it's very tweakable.

I may end up making two versions of this, a higher-DSP version using Dynamic Ambience and a lower-DSP version using one of the legacy reverbs. My path 2 is often a bit DSP-starved when I make dual-amp presets (which is one thing the Kemper can't do) because I tend to have path 1 feed into path 2 and put the amp(s) at the end of path 1 or the start of path 2, so having a lower-DSP option here is important to me.

Looking up the DSP table, the legacy reverbs are about 11% CPU, dynamic ambience is 14%, and dynamic room is 21%. So looks like you may be able to use either legacy or dynamic ambience to keep the CPU relatively low.

Dynamic Room or Dynamic Ambience if you're looking for small spaces. Dynamic Bloom for ducking verb. All of the legacy verbs sound terrible to me - metallic and lo-fi (not in a good way). I was so happy when we finally got good verbs (The Dynamic algos) on the HX.

There are some exceptions IMHO. '63 Spring and Particle Verb can be made to sound great; these are M-series effects after all, and made their way into hundreds of albums.
