I'll probably get slammed for this but whatever...
All this effort into designing and building an amp to cop Ed's tones, and this is far from it.
And the performance has no energy. Yeah, I get that it's a rehearsal, but still.
I wouldn't expect too much out of a IG clip with camera audio. But I think it sounded solid despite that -- I'm sure the shows will have a lot of energy and sound great.I'll probably get slammed for this but whatever...

They sound fantastic. I'm guessing Hagar's not going 100% because dude is what 80 years old? But really damn good.
Wish I could go back in time and see them on tour with AIC. I'm definitely a Hagar guy.

I'm in that very narrow category of people who like both the Roth and Hagar eras about the same. Likely because I was in high school when both 1984 and 5150 were released, so both versions of the band fit into that "nostalgia for the music of my youth" thing.
I was born in 83 and really got into music at a super young age. I think around 88 or 89 I had a cassette of Diver Down and then OU812. And of course hearing all of their hits on the radio. So I came up with both.
I like both eras equally too. Lots of great underrated songs in the Hagar era. All Fired Up, Black and Blue, Pleasure Dome, Source of Infection, Man on a Mission etc...
Unfortunately I'll miss this show because I have a gig on the same night they're playing here
