GX-100 connection to Laptop via BT?

So I’m trying to remove as many cables from my set up a so can. I know the GX-100 has the capability to communicate via BT with Boss’ BT-Dual dongle, but I’ve only seen it used to connect to iPad, iPhone and other Boss’ pedals and gadgets, not your main workstation …

Would it be possible to use the BT-Dual on a GX-100 to connect directly to my laptop and eliminate the need to have the USB cable connecting the two? If so, would I be losing any productivity? I use my laptop for Boss Studio and Amplitube 5. Can’t find anything online (YouTube, Boss forums, etc…)

For midi control each way, or for audio streaming from the laptop and out the GX-100, but not for real-time audio as the latency is too high delay.
