I am not using it wrong. It doesn’t get tight enough on the lock nut and feels too different to a regular key . It’s also a tad under size and jumps out of some bolts. It’s just worse than a regular key.Well, for the record, I have had zero issues with it locking/unlocking the bridge string clamps, locking the nut clamps or raising/lowering the bridge in the two years I've had it. It's also very handy to have if you're playing live and you forgot your allen wrenches.
And considering the bridge string clamps, just have to raise the bridge (dive bomb direction with bar) to make clearance for turning.
It grips the socket perfectly (not too tight, not too loose) and gets plenty of leverage/torque.
Therefore, you must be using it wrong.
Between string changes!!! You need the key to change strings. Don’t you understand English?I don't understand. How can you change string without unlocking the nut?
Can’t you understand English either?Good question. Magic?
Apparently not.

Here's a couple vids to show you how it works:

BS. It bends , it’s shit.Apparently you don't have enough wrist strength to use the HexHider properly, because you've already been shown with text and plenty of visual aids as to how it works, and you keep falsely telling everybody that it's not as good as an allen wrench, when my experience (and others') proves it is.
And I'll let you in on a little secret here:
The HexHider is actually easier to grip than your typical, bourgeois 3mm allen wrench, because there's more surface area.
In fact, it's so fucking cool, that I'm going to recommend it for a Xmas stocking stuffer!
I think it was meant for people who don’t use the trem or want to re purpose a neck that was already cut for the Floyd. It is not meant to be a legitimate option instead of the original giving the same performance. How in the world is this even remotely meant to be a replacement for a locking nut? What a nonsense.
It's done since ages already, too. It's called locking tuners and a properly filed/adjusted nut.
BS. It bends , it’s shit.
It’s plastic “ it bends” is not the same as “it’s bent“.Got a pic of one (the Floyd Rose HexHider, not some cheap offshore shit) that's bent?
Let's see the proof of your claims.
Oh right. Between string changes.Between string changes!!! You need the key to change strings. Don’t you understand English?
I mean with a good setup you won’t need any more than the fine tuning until the need to change strings.
Sorry I thought I was clear.Oh right. Between string changes.
You were. I read it wrong.Sorry I thought I was clear.
Sorry I thought I was clear.
Well. I guess it can be read both ways.
