Good Expression pedal for Volume On Helix

I bought the silly overprices L6 mission pedals and really hate them for volume duties. I use my main Helix Floor pedal for wah so I would like something that feels similarly controllable for my volume control. Any suggestions? I'd rather it need not be powered

Totally agree.

I don't have the large/black DVP-3 that I recommended above, but I've got the older large/silver DVP-1 and a small/black DVP-X Mini, and love both of them.

The large ones are pretty heavy/chunky, but they feel like they'd certainly withstand a nuclear war.

HX FX and DVP-X Mini make the perfect fly rig. Add a decent preamp or run it into a good clean amp, and you're all set.

Is the DVP-3 a long throw like the Helix one or really short like the Mission ones?

Can only comment of the DVP-4 Mini which, of course, has a short throw (compared to Helix, that is). Feels really good thou.

DVP-1 and DVP-3 are probably very similar. I'd never perceived the throw as being too short/quick, tbh.
Ymmv though.

Isn't the DVP 1 pretty much the same as what's on the Helix?
