Idk, the X80 seems to be chunky. Interesting product line. Doesn't really make sense to me but could see how maybe someone with a VP4 and potential VA4 would want one.

Does this have any additional features that you can't find in a cioks, voodoo, etc?

Fractal always has an interesting view on "slim" maybe it's just the picture, even with battery to scale

I think the idea is that VP4 users are going to be primarily pedalboard users. Perhaps the VP4 is selling well, if not better, than they thought and decided they could tap into the power supply market for pedalboard users

I think the fact they’re listening so much to requests for the VP4 kind of confirms that (in my mind anyway) like the IR block in particular

Cool! I use a CIOKS DC7 and a CIOKS DC7+DC4 EXPANDER on my two main boards. When the Fractal products have been released into the wild for a while, I'd love for someone knowledgable to compare them to the CIOKS products.

I currently don’t have a power supply solution, I just run the VP4 power supply and I have a Boss power supply chained off my NS-2. I would love to have one where I know that “the VP4 works with this and you can add other stompboxes” but it would have to be able to be mounted under my pedalboard

It's probably all the support requests - "I don't want to use the included power supply - why can't I use my <X/Y/Z>" or "I don't know what happened, I plugged it in and it bugged out"

I guess the Fractal X80 could replace the CIOKS DC7+DC4 EXPANDER combo on my main board. I might actually look into this, so I could use the CIOKS products for a third board with the really nice pedals that are currently left as substitutes.
