FM0 and VA4 FTW.I still think Fractal should do an even smaller amp/cab/reverb only pedal, but I’d take a VA4.
Idk, the X80 seems to be chunky. Interesting product line. Doesn't really make sense to me but could see how maybe someone with a VP4 and potential VA4 would want one.View attachment 51123

FM9 takes other pedals?
We have a power supply coming out soon for pedal users. The DCPS-80. 80W with eight 9V @ 500mA output and three 9/12/18V @ 1.5/1/0/75A outputs. All outputs are fully isolated to prevent ground loops and fully regulated. An optional expander module provides an additional eight 9V @ 500mA...forum.fractalaudio.com
Yeah it looks enormous hahaIdk, the X80 seems to be chunky. Interesting product line. Doesn't really make sense to me but could see how maybe someone with a VP4 and potential VA4 would want one.
Does this have any additional features that you can't find in a cioks, voodoo, etc?
Fractal always has an interesting view on "slim"maybe it's just the picture, even with battery to scale
I think the idea is that VP4 users are going to be primarily pedalboard users. Perhaps the VP4 is selling well, if not better, than they thought and decided they could tap into the power supply market for pedalboard usersDoes this mean Fractal will release stomp boxes? You would think they release a pedal power supply because they intend to release pedals? Or nah?
I think the fact they’re listening so much to requests for the VP4 kind of confirms that (in my mind anyway) like the IR block in particularI think the idea is that VP4 users are going to be primarily pedalboard users. I currently don’t have a power supply solution, I just run the VP4 power supply and I have a Boss power supply chained off my NS-2. I would love to have one where I know that “the VP4 works with this and you can add other stompboxes” but it would have to be able to be mounted under my pedalboardCool! I use a CIOKS DC7 and a CIOKS DC7+DC4 EXPANDER on my two main boards. When the Fractal products have been released into the wild for a while, I'd love for someone knowledgable to compare them to the CIOKS products.
It's probably all the support requests - "I don't want to use the included power supply - why can't I use my <X/Y/Z>" or "I don't know what happened, I plugged it in and it bugged out"I think the idea is that VP4 users are going to be primarily pedalboard users. I reckon a VP1 would be cool to pair with a Helix Stadium. Well.... there's always this anyway:Does this mean Fractal will release stomp boxes
Probably not.
You know you’re gonna add that Boss Reverb. Don’t lie to yourselfI reckon a VP1 would be cool to pair with a Helix Stadium. Well.... there's always this anyway:

I'm good for power supplies. Got the Zuma + Ojai expander for one board, and the Cioks DC7+Expander8+Crux for my main board.
