If they are doing power supplies one could guess a larger pedal based line is coming

Yeah. I got tired of the constant complaining about the Fractal UI/UX more than a decade ago.
Of course things could be better. And a lot of good and warranted suggestions over the years have not been implemented. I get it! But the constant complaining? As if it is impossible to use Fractal products without a PhD in both signal processing and software development? Fuck off!
I loved my (supposedly difficult, close to impossible) Axe-FX Ultra and I still have my (supposedly difficult, close to impossible ) Axe-FX II. And when I recently got my VP4? Major leaps forward in simple usability. Nice! I think it is perfectly fine to use! Haven't even used the editor yet! Compared to fucking around with my UAFX pedals and their Blutooth apps? Heaven!
The improvements are nice and appreciated. But in a critical situation, I'd rather use Fractal products (with their UI/UX as is) than any of the competitors.

But the night before that, I was really loving using the Plex Delay set to Plex Reverb mode - stock settings, fantastic.

I don’t know that I’m immediately in love with the new VC algorithm. It seems to have more latency. It sounds fine. But it definitely feels slower.
I’m 100% open to the possibility I’m wrong. That’s just my gut, so it doesn’t carry much weight (except it does IRL

People who can’t figure out the Fractal UI are fuckin idiots imo. I get it’s nice to have a touchscreen streamlined UI (and that’s why I’m interested in the Stadium tbh) but ffs, get your head out of your ass, read a fuckin manual and stop being a god damned cuck.

On Thursday I had the house to myself for a few hours and decided to play my tube rig for a change. It has been probably six months since I had played it last. I had the master volumes set to 1 o’clock, so it was giving me all of the beautiful singing feedback and chest pounding palm mutes you could ask for. It was fun.
I came away from the experience questioning why I even bother owning it anymore. It was great, but in no way revelatory or in any way more amazing than playing the Axe-FX through the same cab. I can honestly say that I would not miss it if I had to move it on. The Axe-FX is just astoundingly good.
