See I would dump the factory IRs if it meant even one more DynaCab.

But I guess we are approaching the limits of what can be done for the current platform.

Dont know how much Memory those IR's take but for all intents and purposes for me they are pretty much useless i have a select few IR's that i use (yes LT's TV mixes) a few select others, but its mostly Dynacab for me

I think even Cliff has said that he’d prefer to remove the Factory IR’s but won’t (up to now, at least) due to concerns around preset sharing and backwards compatibility.

Let's say Cliff dumped all Legacy IRs except left 10 spots that the user could load their own Legacy IRs. Wonder how many purchased Dyna-Cab packs would that make room for on the Mark 1 Axe?

No matter what the number would be, I think it would be worth it.

I am so stunned and happy about this! The FM3T is my Fractal daily driver while I keep the Axe on ice for now.

This update is just sooooo freakin’ sweet!

Looks like everything the fm9 and axefx3 got recently worked in the fm3

However things are looking slim i think for all units as complaints of CPU going up a lot across all units are happening quite a bit, so maybe a axe4 and new floor models will have to come soon.

Not sure what else they'll be able to squeeze in especially the fm3.

Except for the Scholz DynaCab...

I futzed around last night with the new tube spring, and of course compared it with Surfybear Compact, and it's great. Like seriously great. I don't remember all my settings but Drip around 30% and Mix 35%-40% gets to that really wet, drippy surf goodness. Mix lower for more normal use. I don't find the cpu toll too high at all compared to other reverbs (OG FM3).

The differences between 9.01 and 10 are hugely obvious - I don't think I've heard a FW make this much change
