Instead of assigning the controller to the bypass button of the block, assign the CC in the MIDI setup page to the corresponding block (and turn on scene ignore in the block)

That would only work if he were using midi...

And Scene Ignore is not related to this.

Is there any way to engage/bypass a block in Axe Edit when it's assigned to an external controller?

I don't always have my MIDI controller plugged in and get a denial message when trying to turn on my reverb block.

Rather liking the new Scholz Dynacab. Tons of sweet midrange and warm treble, seems to fit my YJM strat well, keeps the "single-coil" treble in check.

That would only work if he were using midi...

And Scene Ignore is not related to this.

He literally wrote "I don't always have my MIDI controller".
And scene ignore is needed to replicate how it currently works for him with the controller attached to the bypass (unless he also changes channel in that block via scenes)

There is a bug in the latest firmware for fm9. It's about the diffusion parameter for the Plexdelay. https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/fm9-firmware-version-9-00.212820/

I don't know where modifier settings are, and I haven't used them at all. Assigning the CC to the block globally helped.

On the MIDI controller front, since the Paint Audio MIDI Captain completely uglifies expression pedals, I've set up my HX Stomp board to control my Axe3.

The three snapshots jump to the three presets Im living in. Mosky Dual Switch cycles through scenes. DMC.micro left button is tap/tuner and right swaps HX Stomp between snapshot mode and Stomp mode (revealing three CC switches that change function per snapshot) or can be held for two more CC switches. And the expression pedal is quick and smooth!

Any parameter with a yellow circle can be controlled with these by right clicking on a parameter and it will open a pop-up to input data. Thanks. Yeah, I'm not using any of that as of now so it's all "not used" but now I see @unix-guy may have been taking about the Edit Modifier screen, where I have found the PC Reset option. It still doesn't do the thing so global assigns are working well enough for my issue.

WTF, MIDI going crazy on my Axe3 now?

I've mapped presets to specific PC numbers, but they're not getting recalled properly.
PC's 9, 10, and 11 are supposed to jump to presets 400, 401, and 402

But instead PC9 and 11 both jump to Preset 000, while PC10 jumps to preset 128

I'm also having issues with my Phaser block being active when I had saved the preset with it bypassed. This just happened all of a sudden, nothing power cycled, nothing changed -- it just got weird all of a sudden.

Power cycling didn't help.
