Turned off PC mapping and while it didn't fix the issue, it did jump me to other completely different presets.

Perhaps the Axe has a failsafe that stops people from using L6 devices in conjunction

Back to the drawing board.

Oh, and pre-emptive "shut up" for Brock, as I grumble and look at FC controllers...

I was going to grab that too at the time I was searching for a fc-6 on reverb but didn't have enough so I found my fc-8 mkI for like $300 and just bought cheap $20 nektar expression pedals for it lol.

Yeah that is the same seller I was going to get it from. I asked if it had the sides and they said "I do. They will be included. They don’t allow the unit to be Velcro friendly when they are on." However they have no sales and only 1 buy...

he's relatively close to me, found the same listing on FB marketplace. I've contacted him and am asking him questions, more pictures, etc.

so far his excuses are vague and pictures look like from the same listing.

Not sure how reverse searching works, but I used Google lens as seen on the screenshot of a previous post and pulled up the same picture of a different, ended reverb listing. Clicking the link drops you into a different suggested reverb listing.

I showed the guy the screenshot and he told me that he had sold it but the buyer was impatient "so I refunded him"

Not just a refund for the previous buyer, but almost 50% off for all future buyers and a whole new listing? It just doesn't add up.

He also hasn't responded in an hour and a half

And scene ignore is needed to replicate how it currently works for him with the controller attached to the bypass (unless he also changes channel in that block via scenes)

You're right... Sorry, my brain was thinking FC :)

I don't know where modifier settings are, and I haven't used them at all. Assigning the CC to the block globally helped.

On the MIDI controller front, since the Paint Audio MIDI Captain completely uglifies expression pedals, I've set up my HX Stomp board to control my Axe3.

The three snapshots jump to the three presets Im living in. Mosky Dual Switch cycles through scenes. DMC.micro left button is tap/tuner and right swaps HX Stomp between snapshot mode and Stomp mode (revealing three CC switches that change function per snapshot) or can be held for two more CC switches. And the expression pedal is quick and smooth!

Now that I'm more aware of what you're using...

Instead of assigning a specific CC for the block type you could assign that CC to an External Controller.

Then assign the External Controller to the Bypass of the block instead.

Then try the PC Reset.
