and more power :bag

Looking at the list between axe fx III and fm9, doesn't seem like it's much more power or much more added benefits.

Axefx III has more 2 more compressors, 1 and 2 more delay and drive blocks, extra pitch and plex block, synth block, vocoder

With the vp4 in fx loop of fm9, I'm good I think and i don't think i'll need the 3rd fx loop and I'm not really a fan of rack stuff, i like the looks of pedals or modelers even if they sit on desk lol.

However if there was a way someday to get axefx III, I probably couldn't stop myself lol.

Not to be an ass but imagine you had to be close to the amount of a III with the FM3 sell off loss/purchase, VP4, and FM9?

Probably if they all happened at the same time, then I probably would have, but all of this happened in different sections in the past month lol.

I don't know what I want or doing until it happens lol

I have a question.

Fm9 manual says "Two separate stereo pairs of balanced1/4” jacks serve as as “Aux” ins or “FX returns.”

Can I use a hosa dual ts to trs cable, coming from the outputs of the boss vg-800 to one return aka IN 2 L on fm9 and still be stereo?

Then outputs from boss gm-800 into inputs of zoia, and zoia outputs into vp4 inputs and vp4 outputs with another hosa dual ts to trs cable into another return aka IN 2 R on fm9 and be stereo?

Are the hosa dual ts to trs cables safe to use like this?

If this works, i could possibly have another 2 returns available aka IN 3 L and IN 3 R?

I don't know if I'm thinking about this correctly or not.

Not sure I'm following, but if you mean plugging a TRS plug into a mono jack, then no it won't be stereo.

I'm giving it a week until Brock has an Axe III coming

No. These are hosa dual ts cables to trs. Like a Y cable. You take the dual TS sides from outputs of a device and then plug the TRS side in the input of another device? I thought maybe each L and R of the fx loop on the back of fm9 would maybe be stereo inputs, but i guess not? lol

And no, no axe fx III anytime soon :P

Ok person over on fractal forum said "The jacks on the FM9 are all mono (except for Headphones) . If you want stereo, you have to use both left and right jacks."

I was wrong again. I'm about as wrong as @iaresee these days! :P You have competition now lol.

Finished with the manual. A good read, skipped over some things I'll come back to with the unit in front of me. Any more suggested reading materai to consume?
I’m not sure about reading materials, but I would watch some Cooper Carter vids, and some LT vids.

Has anyone here tried the newly remastered 5150s in the Axe-FX III 28.03 firmware, the new M77 overdrive, or the new 1x12 Scholz DynaCab? I've installed it all, but I don't know when I'll get to play next, and I'm so curious!

I briefly tried the Scholz in one of my presets with some Fender amps, and I wasn't too impressed, but I plan to give it another chance later.
