Yeah, and at the other end of the spectrum are the people who want NAM and a touchscreen.

I feel like some users think if FAS gets easier to use, it makes it less cool that they own oneYeah, and at the other end of the spectrum are the people who want NAM and a touchscreen.
Nah it's more like Indy car's change to a hybrid power system. It’s like putting cup holders in an Indy car.
People have been asking for combined capture/modeling tech for years. It escapes me why anyone would want NAM inside a Fractal product that's prized specifically for its not-NAM modelling, also when they can get a NAM thing each and every way they look.

It's the current feature set for the leading modeling platforms. QC, soon to be Stadium....not to forget all the cheaper entry models trying to wedge NAM related players onto the units.
whether people use it or not, it gives options.
then your 'space' should be bigger to begin with. Plan to build a device that can last 10 yearsIt also takes up space for more important things.
Right? What would adding NAM really take away?then your 'space' should be bigger to begin with. Plan to build a device that can last 10 years

Literally two days with the AM4, and I'm reminded how completely unnecessary captures are. There are easily just as many people who don’t care about NAM/captures/profiles whatsoever.
Because I may have amps I want to profile that are not modeled in the Axe-Fx and want to keep the same workflow and FXs? It's not that hard to imagine. It escapes me why anyone would want NAM inside a Fractal product that's prized specifically for its not-NAM modelling, also when they can get a NAM thing each and every way they look.
What's necessary is a RIGHT sounding amp model of whatever model I want to use. Not "oh just grab the Placaturd and stack the Minotaur in front of it" or "oh just use the X-Crunch" when I want a Mark/Recto/JVM/51-whatever-50.Literally two days with the AM4, and I'm reminded how completely unnecessary captures are.
