I don't know what number I am, but I almost exclusively play a range from clean to mid-gain...like lightly boosted cranked Plexi/70's EVH at the upper end.
I think more importantly for Fractal is the billions of bro country people I sometimes try to pretend don't exist, but dayem there are a lot of them judging by the concerts that come through and the crowds that show up. I figure that has to translate into a lot of people who play guitar with Fender style amp tones.

Good friend let me know. He's a cyber-security specialist. Guitar (and Fractal) fan. He's not the joking type... have known him since I was 8 y/o.
Not sure how widespread it is... but won't be long, I'd assume.
He's in Ireland... won't hear back from him until his morning.

I posted in their forum. Saw Cliff and Matt cycling through the list. I'm sure they're aware.
My buddy (Alan) tried turning me onto Fractal over 10 years ago. I didn't listen until about five years ago. We were speaking on the phone about a week ago... we discussed ICONS. He had concerns about this. I'm a naive optimist. I thought it would be good for a while, at least.
I was out this evening. Got back to a message from him... "its k'd." No further details.
He'll probably be awake in a couple of hours.
Yeah... I guess companies just have to accept it. Trust there's enough good to outweigh the scum.
Hardware DSP (dongle essentially) seems the best bet. Similar to UAD-2 plugins on Apollos. Not sure how their native UADx has faired. I own every plugin they make. I use DSP exclusively across the board... except a very small number that are only available natively... recent releases that exceed SHARC capabilities.
Still a crying shame.
