I definitely bought an HX Stomp in order to have a cheaper pathway to Helix Native. Line 6 wins twice there.

When I (finally) picked up a used HX Stomp, I made sure the seller hadn’t already used the one-time hardware owner’s discount.

For me the Stomp was only a backup and/or extra grab-and-go solution. Great little unit, though! But I didn’t really gel with it. Not really - not in the way I have with Fractal hardware both before (Ultra and II) and after (VP4 and AM4). And I used Native more than the Stomp.

So when I got the opportunity to sell the Stomp for more than I bought it for, I sold it to partially fund my AM4.

I can’t complain, having been able to enjoy the Stomp for a while and effectively getting Helix Native almost for free in the process.

Is there any word on how updates and bug reports are going to be handled in the future?

Assuming things pan out as they seem to, it’s going to be a lot of upkeep for the user - some kind of app manager software that can automatically update files and keep things maintained would be great. I plan on buying everything Fractal release and based on what I’ve experienced with other companies, I think it’s best to build these things in early rather than trying to catch up later when there’s dozens of individual pieces of software in the wild.

I’d also love to see some kind of web form and user area where we can save our computer specs etc and have a more “official” way of reporting issues than just forum posts (which are great for discussion/feedback)

For 1.0 users is 1.01 just to get us in sync with the demo capable version or is there anything else going on under the hood. (Bug fixes, optimizations, enhancements etc)
