They do half price sales 2-3x a year ontop of intro prices.
Mayer was the one exception where it launched at a new high price but everything before that was cheaper.

They also use iLok just like this FAS plugin, and they're able to provide a 2 week demo. I've also never had them tell me no when I've requested a demo extension. I think they chalk it up to "that demo extension may end up turning into a sale" and it generally has in my case.

This is not a hard prediction to make - Fractal will release a demo in the next 5 -7 days. It would be inconceivable of them not to be doing this even as we "speak".

And on top of that with NDSP you get a discount if you git any and if you use a min EU addy it'll be in $ etc.
So Mayer was like 100€. Id sieged that any day in a plug I demo'd and dug.

Who am I kidding I'd likely get it anyways. Although the lack of expert parameters makes it less appealing.
Now if it was my go to models I'd aright have bought it. Lol

A token 4x12 in dyna cabs would go a long way.

100%. I think they should def add a standard 412 V30 and GB dynacab.

I understand the pricing but has anyone looked at a trajectory of how much you’d spend if they kept duplicating this amp list at $300 a pop? It would be a major incentive to give recurring discounts based on plugins you own. If you own a bunch of stuff and the brand just keeps doubling down to reward those purchases it makes a massive difference to even getting that first purchase over the line imo.

Yeah, I think some sort of tiered bundle pricing needs to be implemented for Complete versions. $299 for 1st, $199 for the 2nd, $150 for the 3rd. And if youre just doing the à la carte thing then they are always $99.

This seems like a pretty fair approach imo.

Is the plan to keep these siloed as individual plugins, or will there be some mechanism by which the effects/cabs in one plugin will be available in another?

Honestly I think that would be a pretty cool approach. FX/Cabs stay synchronous across all plugs, with the distinguishing factor between plugs being solely the amp line/type. Then you can mix and match plugs without trying to remember where reverb/delay/mod XYZ is.

Yes, but if you just want the cabs then you're better off using CabLab. No sense buying something and not using its main feature.

Awesome! That would be great.

And, as much as it might pain to read, a Mesa 412 v30 is probably worth a drop. A lot of people will use the plug for clean tones and then flip elsewhere to uber gained up tones, and using the same cab type across both tracks can be pretty desirous. With the Mesa being a bit of a modern standard, it might make more sense to have then it would seem at first glance. Just a thought and might help the plug cover as much ground as possible.
