Fractal ICONS Plugin

If you’ve ever once wished FAS would make a plugin, and you’d now consider using a cracked version once they actually did…

That doesn't change the point of the comment. Plugins have fewer constraints. That's why you see so many microphones in the cab block in the plugins.
I agree with the point...

But RAM and storage are different and often confused, which is why I commented.

So, where are the individual volumes and what will those cost (sorry if it's covered in the thread already, can't read it all right now)?

And fwiw, I actually think that the asking price is pretty steep for a plugin (the regular price even is completely off the rails). Still, would like to know the price of the individual bundles, they're not in the shop yet, AFAICS.

Individual volumes are $99 each. They are already for sale in the store

Also, will presets created within the plugin be directly compatible (as in kinda drag'n'drop-able) with future FAS hardware?
For me, that's one of *the* main great points of HX Native and (partially) the Tonex ecosystem.

How often is it where you have no idea what amp you need, and that there’s a chance you need either a Fender Champ or an ENGL savage?
That's not what I was saying. I'm saying when the packs have codenames like Fractal mentioned, at some point when you have enough packs you have to look up if "Monterey" had the Marshalls or Engls. "Fullerton" is still easy because most know that is related to Fender, but even then if it's separated into Vol 1-4 then you might have to check which had the exact model you were looking for.

So long as the packs are combined enough (e.g. all fender amps together) I think it’s fine. In some ways, it’s arguably better than the long random list of amps in AxeFX where there isn’t really any method to how they’re sorted and the only thing you can go off to find what you need is to read them. I see the different packs as almost like sub folders so you don’t have a Bogner Uberschall getting in the way of your Vox’s or a Dumble getting in the way of your Marshall’s.
I think it's easier to find what you want in that long list when you don't have to load a bunch of plugins first to find what's inside them, or refer to a product page/manual. Your plugin list will likely look like this:

Code:
> Fractal
    > Fullerton
           Fullerton Vol. 1
           Fullerton Vol. 2
           Fullerton Vol. 3
           Fullerton Vol. 4
    > Hanwell
           Hanwell Vol. 1
           Hanwell Vol. 2
           Hanwell Vol. 3
           Hanwell Vol. 4
    > Monterey
           Monterey Vol. 1
           Monterey Vol. 2
           Monterey Vol. 3
           Monterey Vol. 4

Now, which one of those plugins contains the "Brit 800 #34" model you were looking for? You might know it's "Hanwell" because you remember that's Marshall rather than Fender, but 1-4 is going to be a mystery unless you open each plugin one by one.

I can’t think of a single person that I have seen or know that’s used the T Racks container plugin. It absolutely sucks ass to look at your mixer window and just see the name of a container, and then you have to open it to see what’s inside. And when you need another plugin in between, you have container->plugin->container. It gives you way less information than just having separate plugins like how they were intended.
I just used the T Racks as an example of a product offering both ways, I agree it's easier to use that one with the separate plugins. I think the container plugin can be useful if you treat it as a single effect you turn on/off, it's just built out of multiple separate plugins. If you don't like this workflow, no harm done. You can just use them one by one and consider the track/bus plugin list your container.
