I need more then 4 blocks, but I`m sure the AM4 is a cool unitIt is fairly long stretch. The AM4 was a great pivot that will keep the current fires burning, I'd think?

Yes sir! I did that for 8 or I think 10 yearsA long time to build up some muscle memory for all dem buttons we gotta push to move a block!
I see that completely. I could get by with 4 blocks using probably 3,4 presets tops 99% of the time.I need more then 4 blocks, but I`m sure the AM4 is a cool unit
"next gen" is kind of a misnomer at this point. The new one will do more things in different ways. Any sonic differences will be no more/less than whatever the next firmware update might have been on the "previous gen". What's a sonic difference on a firmware update you ask? Oh, well that's when...It is fairly long stretch. The AM4 was a great pivot that will keep the current fires burning, I'd think?
The sounds continue to be so good it's like splitting the world's tiniest hairs."next gen" is kind of a misnomer at this point. The new one will do more things in different ways. Super for folks that don`t need more blocks. But I like to use 2 amp blocks, and that is a no go on the AM4I see that completely. I could get by with 4 blocks using probably 3,4 presets tops 99% of the time.
Not enough for me to throw away 8 years of muscle memory reps!!!The sounds continue to be so good it's like splitting the world's tiniest hairs.
Just Put A ToneX In The Loop (TM).Super for folks that don`t need more blocks. But I like to use 2 amp block, and that is a no go on the AM4
And I would like a Capture option on divice
Would add latency?Just Put A ToneX In The Loop (TM).

For the record, I think it's a terrible idea.Would add latency?
I don`t own a ToneX. And that would add more things to keep an eye on ( I don` t like that) I like simple things now a days
But You said it! hahaFor the record, I think it's a terrible idea.
Layout, select the block, page right, page right, turn knob one click right, execute.A long time to build up some muscle memory for all dem buttons we gotta push to move a block!

I like both, but I read that Cliff said NAM player option would come in new Hardware, if and when that happensOption to make captures or just run them?
I've used a tonex one replacing fractal sims and gotten good results that way.
Low cost, top level accuracy, and it allows you to use snapshots of your own amps within fractal units, among others.
The realerness is sub-atomic.The sounds continue to be so good it's like splitting the world's tiniest hairs.
Be like Leo and you don't have to do this mess: Get it Right the First Time.Layout, select the block, page right, page right, turn knob one click right, execute.
Because clicking and dragging is for wimps![]()
