I imagine a FAS capture utility would be really good given the insane horsepower available
Funny enough, the III can't run NAM in real time. I was a little surprised by this. Maybe it's an optimization thing.

I do think it's interesting people want NAM level captures in a current big name device. QC V2 appears very similar if not as good as NAM, and it is much easier to make the captures. I know we hate the QC here but......it's kinda already available in a sense.

I couldn't care less about NAM captures in the Fractal stuff. I want Fractal because of Cliff's meticulous level of detail in replicating a shit-ton (that's a technical term) of amp models. Not because it can do what a Sonic Cake can.

I imagine a FAS capture utility would be really good given the insane horsepower available, I'd only buy it if you could use as many as you want like quad cortex. it would be cool if you could have a pedal in the loop and it can run a utility to eq match it and copy the distortion, when it's easy to use it will get used alot. I sold qc because models are crap but kept kemper cause it's so fast. it's a good thing afx3 holds value so well tho to fund the new one
I feel like the future is the option to use more then 1 capture in a preset going forward. I love to use 2 or 3 in my QC, it`s super nice option to have

Above or below your IV in the rack?

Good question, chronological or reverse chronological?

I would love it. I absolutely love fractal effects and I think the models are great. But there's a big difference plugging into my amps or the captures of my amps with my NC, and I'd be over the moon about having real capture tech inside a Fractal unit alongside their modeling tech. Best of both worlds in once device.

Put your NC in the loop, problem solved. Next?

My guess is they will dive a little deeper into the smaller form factor stuff and it will be a VP2 or AM2 or both. I would be surprised if they are actually ready to launch a new top of the line product with all the UI improvements most are expecting.

I would also be surprised if they release the Axe FX IV this close to the AM4, but I'd be here for it. Maybe the AM4 would get the updated modeling too and it would be a bridge device.

My guess is something more like the HX One, but that's just a guess.
