To put it kindly, he is a dishonest ignorant asshat who invents scandal as a form of self promotion. The guy deserves a million swift kicks to the nuts, and not a single click.

Honestly seeing the moves Fender has made with their guitar lineup the last few years, I really do think they need to go the direction Gibson (GASP) has with a general simplification of their line and a recommitment to quality and solid fundamentals. A reissue Strat is $2300 and still plays like shit out of the box. I can’t be bothered to give them money anymore.

I swore off Gibson in the early 2000s for similar reasons - they were bloated and shitting out expensive garbage. They aren’t perfect but they are moving the right direction now. I’ve bought 3 Gibsons in 4 years and each one has been an absolute winner of a guitar.

Everything Fender does these days feels half-assed.
