Fender FR-12 vs GTX100

I have a Fender GTX100 amp and I use that with my FM3/Kemper. Home use only. I am wondering if the FR-12 will be a significant improvement over the GTX100. Looking for opinions from folks who have tried both. Thanks.

Yes, it would absolutely be a huge improvement.

GT is a LOT better as a powered monitor than it should be. FR12 is great. A lot better especially with the preamp upgrade.

Haven't used the GTX100 but the FR-12 IMO is better than a Boss Katana Artist for that purpose.

The Waza speaker in the Artist is basically Roland’s version of a high-powered Greenback, so it’s not neutral at all.

What is the roundabout cost for this upgrade? I noticed there is a V3 out.

I think the V2 was around $120? Not sure where Liam is at as far as his waitlist goes. Having noon be flat points was an OCD godsend if nothing else.
