Fender Bassman

About 6 months ago I fixed up my 1967 Fender Bassman. Recapped and replaced a lot of out-of-spec parts (most everything). Sounds great and worked very well until a couple days ago i was playing it pretty loud for about an hour and it started smelling hot. I shut it down and gave it a rest. I let it cool and then played some more. About 45 minutes in it started smelling hot again so I looked in the back and the 6L6s were redplating. There was no change in tone just too hot tubes.

I tore it down and checked it over. Voltages are good, everything seems to be in order. However, it’s been super humid and when I got the amp the fiber eyelet board was really warped and moldy. Do you think the fiber board has become conductive?

I like this amp but it’s nothing but trouble. If I’ve got to replace the entire eyelet board I’m just going to mod it into a high gain sleeper.
