It's the quietest "1000 watt" amp I've ever heard. At least the Fender. It has volume but nowhere near where that number would suggest imo.

That’s the first thing I thought. One of the reasons I was holding out on the Fender FR-12 were the cosmetics. I prefer something neutral looking. Remove the badges and it’s perfect.

That’s a good looking "FRFR"
If it like the Fender one w improvements that’s pretty decent better than the ToneX

Long and McQuaid's price on the FR-12 is 829, so there is there is a $30CAN upcharge for EVH.

I think @Lysander knows a more realistic number, and perhaps more importantly, that the speaker power rating suggests it would be as carbonized as a cup of Starbucks coffee if anything close to 1000 watts were pumped into it.

"The class D amp module for the 12 is by Kustom (Hanser) it is rated at 300w at 4 ohms. They paired it with an 8 ohm speaker so it puts out roughly half that power.

The horn has its negative lead interrupted by a cheap soic mosfet in a de-pop situation that is rated to dissipate 3 watts maximum."
