Envelope Filters

Picked up a DOD 440 and it’s doing everything I need an envelope filter to do. I think I’m ending the search here. True bypass, does the thing, small, super easy to dial in, done.

Dude, how do you like that Ripply Fall? I was looking at the Ripple for Phaser spot on my board and then stumbled on that combo. (Always wanted to try a Waterfall)

I have mixed feelings about it. I love the Waterfall side, it’s one of the best choruses I’ve used and it’s really versatile with the depth control, vibrato switch, and second footswitch.

The Ripple side can be good for some things, but it’s really intense. It’s got a ton of depth and almost sounds more like a univibe than a phaser at times. I wish it had a depth control. It would be perfect if it had that, but without it I just can’t get the subtle warm Phase 90 thing out of it. But it’s great for the more intense phaser stuff.
