I advocate for the use of Kemper, Helix, QC, or AxeIII Fx on stage as well. It's a great deal easier to get a good mix when the guitars aren't blasting high volume onto the stage as well. No different than the drums. The only difference being that guitar processors still require a speaker on stage for getting string action for leads.
Keeping the amps pointed toward you gives you the string action but keeps the beamy cab out of the audience.
So the Torpedo cab m+ goes to the PA?
I also see your gig notes. I JUST stopped doing this and started using BandHelper on a tablet along with a CME WiDi wireless MIDI to change my Kemper for each song. It also lets me put notes up on my tablet for each song along with the setlist order.
My damn eyes have just gotten to be such crap ..... especially in low light, that even when I print my cheat sheet for the set as big as I can fit on a single sheet of paper, I still have to lean over to read it now. My tablet is perfect for this and it also eliminates my tap dance between songs. I still do in-song changes with my foot controller since we don't play to a click track.
