E-drums: could they be a common thing for small bands gigs?

Take a video from out front if you can. I am interested to see how the kit sounds in the mix.

I've taken one and my daughter made some too. Tomorrow I'll take take a look and do the uploads.

Kemper, and it sounds great.

I advocate for the use of Kemper, Helix, QC, or AxeIII Fx on stage as well. It's a great deal easier to get a good mix when the guitars aren't blasting high volume onto the stage as well. No different than the drums. The only difference being that guitar processors still require a speaker on stage for getting string action for leads.

Amps blasting into the mics or to the audience?

Thai is how I placed my loud amp+cab.
In the stage edge, pointing backwards towards me and basically to the drummer.

Problem solved.

With an acoustic kit (and mics) on stage I would have put it on the side at 90°.

There's no mic on my cab because I use a Torpedo cab m+

Why is it that you don’t just use a keyboard, or trigger your guitar sounds with MIDI? Or plug directly in a DI?

karaoke would be just fine...vocals are king; backing tracks for everything else

No, and it is spelled Ann Arbor in the US. We dropped all the stupid British U's shortly after kicking them out of here.
