His JHS video was just...wrong about everything, and the next video, was just yapping and yapping bla bla. It could have been 2 minutes long.

it is probably a YouTube monetising thing - longer videos = more potential adverts etc.
 
Five watts now have a planned video about JNC and JHS…. Really

I feel bad for those YouTubers. Needing to up there content quantity (!!) game constantly because it’s their way of making a living.

Knowing full well your next video is just stupid but hey … can’t make another video about the history of the Telecaster.

That's why I unsubscribed from his channel. Too much nonsense just to appease YT wanting people to push out constant content.

I don't really care for his playing style or tone that much, so I don't really watch him for the playing. But he has interesting videos from time to time so I just watch those and ignore the rest.

I don't love/hate JNC any more than I ever did. His playing is still as monstrous as it's always been and I find it pretty hilarious that anyone would give that shade. I don't love the style, wouldn't put it on to listen to, but as an improviser? Dude is surprisingly creative. If you think Testament has written more than 4 songs, but JNC plays the same ol' Eric Johnson licks all the time... I dunno.

Use the pause button; expect a video to take AT LEAST a week's worth of practice/work to digest; don't watch without your guitar in hand. If he's truly over your head and you can't make sense of it...then you should probably stop watching YouTube and instead work slowly and methodically through some lower level TrueFire courses.
