Darkglass Anagram - NAM profile player & multieffects unit

Made in Finland, nice. Are Neural and Darkglass the only companies not making their modelers in China/other cheap labor countries? I think Fractal moved production to China as well? Edit: Kemper is probably made in Germany.

Oh, and it's nearly a third of the depth of the FM3. What about heat management??!?
It's really more like assembled in Finland. They have a factory basically in the middle of Helsinki where they assemble most likely quite premade boards from China.

To my surprise IK stuff (including Tonex) is made in Italy, there's a recent factory tour video by Leo Gibson showing it.

Even if that were true, there is not a lot of money in selling bassists just a cable and a DI. There is no reason bassists shouldn't be subject to the same crippling GAS as guitar players other than gear marketers have not targeted them enough.
I personally use a cable, ToneX or NAM and a light delay or reverb (often just a room) and for cleans a comp and a chorus at most.
Can do 99% of music.
But amp sound and cab is where I put the most effort. That’s why I ditched the Axefx 3 for ToneX and NAM

Just catching up a bit on this now (crazy day); I think they did the I/O calibration good - everything seems to be set up to unity gain & impedances are well aligned so it *could* be a great reamping unit.

No expression pedal jack? Or am I missing it?
I think the Return input can act as an expression pedal input.

TLDR; Expression input with a mono FX loop ... or a stereo effects loop.

The expression input is shared with the stereo effects return.
If you want both expression and mono FX loop, you can use the stereo effects send as a mono effects loop (which they refer to as a mono insert).

The AxeFx is still a great piece of gear; if you leverage the "Tone Match" block and are trying to match an amp you own for instance, it can get crazy close too. Shame that block's only limited to the Axe and wasn't ported to the FM9 and FM3.
