CHASE BLISS BROTHERS AM

Definitely an interesting pedal, as are most of CB's. Curious to hear it although not something I'm likely to buy.

Is it up to 8 years? Damn. I got on the waitlist about 2.5 years ago and figured I was at least halfway there. :ROFLMAO:
Sorry Whiz, current calculations show "Estimated Wait Time (if you got on the list today): 8 Years, 11 Months, 26 Days". Maybe the waitlist falls off if the Brothers AM is as good as advertised? I'd definitely rather pay $400 for a new CB than $750 for a used KoT.

The big “if” is if it’s as good as the KOT. If it is, then that’s amazing. Well worth $399.

I checked my waitlist date and it was actually close to three years ago. I looked at the KOT tracker and its saying I would be projected around July 2028.

The KoT IS really good. A pedal I do kinda wish I'd held onto...but $600 is $600 even if I only paid $270 or whatever for it new after waiting a few years. I would never PAY $600 for it, but I probably should have just kept it and been happy with it. I'd pay $399 for a KoT box.

But I don't quite get this form factor and think I'd rather have that Protein Brown Whatever as a dual OD than this -- What I liked about the KoT was how simple it was to use as the sole source of dirt in front of a clean amp. That one pedal gave super easy to dial in, super convenient dirt/crunch on one button and lead on the second button.

The size and spacing of the buttons on this thing would make it annoying to use in that mode. And MIDI-control over overdrive seems kinda silly to me.

Also -- why are the knobs all over the place? Just put (1) on top and (2) on bottom, gain, tone, volume left to right.

Haven't looked close enough to see if this adds anything to the mix other than "digital control over a KoT"

You know what’s going to happen though, half the people will rave about it being just as good or better while the other half say it’s ok but not as good as the KOT
No no no no no no...

1/3, on Tuesdays, Monday and Wednesday during waxing moon phase, Thur. and Fri during waning, will love it. Will always hate it on Saturdays, and everything else is a coin toss.

1/3, the opposite of the above

1/6 will hate it always because CB
