Can you control a tonex pedal with Zoom G6?

I know it doesn't have traditional midi in the G6 but is there a device that can be used to do that? I think the Zoom has midi mapping thru the usb.

The big ToneX has MIDI, but the little ToneX One doesn't, however you can add something like a Pirate MIDI Polar to do it.

I have the big pedal and it has midi. My question is how to control it from the G6 that doesn't have the five pin midi. I believe that it can send midi messages via usb so I'm assuming there is a way to do it.
