Broke a B string in December '25. It had been installed Feb 9, 2025. That was the only string I broke in '25 on my 3 played guitars (two of them had one string change, the other had 2 string changes but it was due for it anyway when that string broke).

I don't break strings, but burrs on saddles do.

I only seem to ever break them on my Ibanez Prestige AZ lately 
Could be because it has been my main guitar since 2022 and I've been lazy?
Most recent was one of the first times I was testing out my Axe FX3 (early 2025) and broke the B string.
Before that, during the first season of the Do Something challenge I broke a string on my AZ in the middle of tracking a solo. I was disappointed because I was in a good flow state and I was playing great but the breakage totally threw my vibe off and I never quite recovered.
The rest of my guitars either start sounding dull, lacking sustain, or exhibiting tuning issues and I end up changing them if I decide they'll be in heavier playing rotation.
Im usually a good boy and have a string changing regimen that itself changes depending on how much I'm playing or gigging, that includes keeping track on a calendar. I've been pretty shit with it lately and its harder now that I have more guitars than I can play in a month. It hasn't been an issue as I've only been playing for myself and family for the past few years but I'm going to get back on the horse at least for my gigging guitar now that I'll be doing more of that.
