Metal zone is legend. Do you dig the BE-OD though?
Yes, it's very amp like. I still like to use my diode-less SD1/TS to tighten things further along with the 'tight' control on board.Do you dig the BE-OD though?
The Waza has a Custom mode which can be adjusted to sound very amp like, it easily holds up with the boutique BE-OD and SLO pedals.
Same, if you can’t get a tone on this it’s you.For years every cork sniffer and their brother pooped on this pedal. I loved it from day one. Bought one as soon as they were available. The parametric EQ was an actual game-changer in its day.
Not me, it sounds great into a clean preamp if set correctly.Anyone using it straight into the FX return of a tube amp? I’ve heard chatter from way back suggesting that’s the best way to use them.
I guess I’m going to have to chase one of these down if I see a deal. My teen friend group had a MIJ one we passed around for years and the honk was precisely the reason we didn’t get along with it.Not me, it sounds great into a clean preamp if set correctly.
Even the Standard mode sounds great on the Waza version if set right, they fixed the pre-emphasis eq in both modes so it doesn't have the 'honk' anymore just a great sounding high gain pedal.
