Big amps in a big room!

This was my last spin with the Shiva before I heard @Archelo come in and make it sound 10x better than I ever did in about 10 seconds flat!

The delay is the Lovepedal Multitap, not the FM9 as I wrote in the description. All the reverb is from the room.

To be fair, this amp wasn’t truly “cranked” as the channel volumes were halfway up and the Master was on 3. Still plenty frickin’ loud, though! The Lovepedal Vintage Modern was the shining star in that noodle fest, I initially figured it was the Dover Drive I was hearing until I listened to what I was calling out. That’s not the normal tone I’ve ever gotten from that pedal before, it’s generally a straight ahead dirt but with that Shiva there was that awesome fuzzy essence around the notes that I generally associate with the Germanium Dover Drive.

I feel like the room reverb is essentially a delay 😂

Depending on where you were standing, it did present a slapback effect!
Pussy!!!!! Turn that shit all the way up!

I waited for the Plexi for that! But I definitely should have cranked that Shiva more while I had the chance. I’m not sure how much more the poweramp kicks in, but it would have been worth finding out!

"I can't hear you!!!!!!" :hmm :rofl
This is our life AFTER Severance. Seamless integration of work and passion. :beer

Love the Lovepedal VM.... which is a Purple Plexi on one side (Modern) and
a COT50 (Vintage) on the other.

Best "backrooms" video yet !

10/10

Would watch again.

Ahhhh, I was trying to remember what blend the VM was the other day, thanks! I might have to snag a Purple Plexi by itself, I obviously love the Tchula, which I know is pretty similar to the COT50, but I’m not huge on the COT50 side of the VM and prefer my Tchula to it, despite having less tweakability on the Tchula.

When I found that subreddit the first thing that popped in my head was “I can make so much content for this sub at work”

Yeah, the COT was pretty much Sean's 1st design/release and it is great----with a Strat into something Fendery like a Princeton. :rofl

The cool thing is the Tchula is essentially 2 COTs in series. The 1st side is a COT at 11:00, because that is where Josh Smith
always set his COT. Sean built him the Thcula with the 1st COT at 11:00 and the 2nd stage is just stacked on top of that with
an adjustable Gain. Killer pedals!

I prefer the Tchula as an always on thing, and the Purple Plexi as a dedicated Marshall In A Box. I can't even really use the
Vintage/COT side of the Vintage Modern. A stand alone Purple Plexi is more than enough. Or the Purple Plexi with the post-
gain Boost.

Much agreed. Sometimes I’ll purposefully not turn the Tchula on because I know once I do, I won’t turn it off! Loving the way it’s working with the Plexi50. Now that I’ve got it setup in the studio and hooked up to the load box I’ll be trying out every pedal through it. I’m finishing up this ‘new’ pedalboard today which is going to free up my FM9’s board, gonna be time to start “finalizing” the dirt pedals I want to utilize. (ya know, until I come across other dirt pedals I want to use in the future)
