Bad Cat Jet Black

Outta’ that whole..f’n YT “world of SCOOBS”..,
-he’s one of the exceptions.
The man knows how to put it all together.
He’s a great guy to have in your squad👍.
I didn’t listen because his recording set-up from where he’s sitting & creating are worlds apart., oh yeah the amp part, that’ll sound amazing no matter what or it wouldn’t be used in the mix…
-ya feel me??
Well..now I’m gonna listen

What would be the take of the tape would be Michael sitting in front of the Jet Blue, straight into
a cabinet, no mic’ing,
-ONLY his cellphone sitting there in the room JUST LIKE you or I hear/feel and play the amplifier when we sit down.
& plug in & play.

I’m renaming it..Jet Dick.
Just me & my trusty Stratocaster in the neck pick-up position,
-stabbin’ in & stabbin’ out

Sounds really good.

I'd love to hear an A/B comparison with the Lynx.

I don't think that's possible. Cell phones don't come anywhere close to reproducing an "in the room" listening experience. Nothing really does.

All we'd hear with a cell phone recording is a low-fi garbled mess of room reflections, like we hear with every cell phone clip. This is especially true if the cell phone is taking video of the player, which means the cell phone's mic is actually facing the floor. In that case it would only start to resemble an "in the room" setup to you if you listened to the rig in the room by plugging one ear with your finger and pointing your open ear at the floor.

The rad part about Eddy’s demonstration is he’s just sitting there plsying his ass off, no mixed track, bone dry straight in.
No talking or blah blah close up navigations.
Yeah, he’s mic’es put you can CLEARLY HEAR
he’s not hiding behind the editing Wizard behind the tiny door..
The clean sound is dead raw and that insane distortion that comes on when he rolls up the guitar volume or switches to dimed pick-up
is exactly how his distortion sounds in his amps.
Again, no Wizard with the big hat hiding in the corner behind the tiny door!
He also doesn’t use this guys brand with this or that, just Duncan’s/Dimarzio’s and some menacing mean guitars & his God given hands with no head👀.LOL!
Hopefully he fires up the amp builder leader’s of the pack..
If I was in the business of designing/building guitar amplifiers..-I’d look busy! LTFOL!!
The next level is on the horizon..we need MORE.

I HAD TO.
(Holy Hell..talk about compression on the drums).
