they wont work, will be in the shop all the timeI can’t wait for Ford and Chevy to come out with amp modelers.
Suggestions like the A-E encoder double tap makes my life so much easier on FAS gear.
Block Libary and channels: the greatest modeler inventions ever.@Whizzinby congrats on the FM3 too!
The blocks library in FM3-Edit is going to be your new best friend. Any time you find something you like in a preset or from noodling around you can save it and recall any time in the future.

Riffing with it some more this morning.
I hate to admit the amount of time I fumble dicked in FM3 Edit trying to change a block to a different type before finding the “insert” menu option, and then not realizing I had to reconnect the block to the chain. Then wanted to put my nuts in a vice once I realized I could just control click the block to change it. So learning the workflow will take some time, but I got that task out of my system.
Got to something other than delays and reverbs finally. Tremolos are immense. Really all the modulations. There are some effects in here that a NASA engineer would be proud of, but really all the bread and butter fx are simple and just great. Effects wise this is hands down the best multi-fx unit I’ve ever played, and I’ve owned most of the popular options.
The only effect I haven’t liked (or can’t find) is the octave. I can’t find a POG model. The octave divider tracks really well but doesn’t do great for complex chords. Good for tracking single note lines. I need to work on that.
I hope at some point I’ll leave the SLO clean and try some riffing. Im basically just auditioning to be in Elronds Rivendell quartet at the moment, floating around in these delays/verbs.
Otherwise
- Haven’t figured out how to import IR’s with Edit, from the cab block I go to “library” and point to my IR folder but it’s not importing it.
- Can’t open Cab Lab while using Edit, well how are we supposed to use it then?
- Need to figure out how to import stuff from the Axe Exchange

Stomp should be here soon!!!We all have our broken records and wet blankets to contribute if you hit the right subject
I download the file first, as a separate step (I don't think you can do it directly.)

Block libraries are literally presets for just individual blocks, of which you can save just a single channel, or all channels per block. So for example, I’m on a SLO kick. I’ve got a block in my library that’s four channels: SLO Clean, SLO Crunch, SLO Lead, and FAS Brootalz, which is an amalgam of a SLO front and Engl power section. Save that block to the block library, and then I can create a fresh preset for a song, and just automagically drop that SLO block into that preset, no work.Channels I understand now. And it’s awesome. Being able to bake 4 different amps into a single block is badass.
Block libraries I don’t understand yet but I’m going to google lol
