We totally get the love for 4x12s—they’re iconic for a reason and we have a few. But as many have pointed out, they’re not always the most practical choice, especially when it comes to portability and room acoustics.

That’s why we worked on an alternative: the Rawrawk Quasar 1x12. It’s a compact cab designed to deliver the punch and depth you’d expect from a larger cab, but without the back-breaking weight. We’ve focused on optimizing the internal design and maximize bass response.

If you’re curious, you can check it out here: rawrawk.com. Always open to feedback from fellow gear enthusiasts!

To my surprise, pricing seems decent enough. Not a huge fan of the bright colors personally, but that's a matter of taste after all.

Anyhow, there's one important thing to note: your website is missing an imprint, if I'm not mistaken. According to EU law you need to provide that. Not a big deal to change, probably.

Hi dronerstone,

Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out and reply!

Yes — the cabinet currently in production carries both CE and UKCA markings, along with the required certifications.

We’ll also soon be offering an all-black version, which might suit your aesthetic preferences better. And we’ll aim to post more images here soon.

Just to clarify one design detail: apart from functional fittings like the handles and front grill, the entire core structure is assembled without a single screw. All main joints — including the baffle — are fully glued and braced. This method is more complex and expensive to build, but it dramatically increases rigidity. Combined with our internal bracing, it raises the cabinet’s natural resonant frequencies, contributing to a tighter and more controlled sound.

Let me know if you have any other questions — always happy to chat gear!

That's fun. How about the imprint thing then?

My pre loved Orange PPC 4 X 12 Celestion vintage 30 cab arrived earlier .
My daughter collected it for me after getting her cars air con sorted not far from the shop.👍
Her brother helped her get it in d house 👌
Now just have to put it where it’s going to live and stack my other one on top over the weekend 👍

TL;DR scored a V30 4x12 today for $161.

After reading back this is a very very long post lol.

I've been looking for a V30 loaded 4x12 for a couple of minutes now and found a very sweet deal today. I came into some issues a while back, had to sell off everything unfortunately including some amazing gear.

Have slowly been rebuilding and today was the final piece to the puzzle. I had a couple of very generous forum bros help me out with guitars in the hard times thankfully but now I've got shit back on track so a couple of you may have seen my NGD Schecter. Love the guitar but the fret ends were rubbing on my finger and very painful.

Took it to a local shop for a setup and had them file the edges and recrown. Now it is near perfect. On my way out of the shop I noticed a cab tucked away that had a little badge saying Vintage 30s. Hmmm, had to take a peek because that is in fact what I wanted my cab to have inside. That or an Uberkab setup.

Looked at the tag......$150? This can't be right. Asked the guy to verify the speakers by taking a peek. Hate to be a pain but that was the sole reason to buy. Sure enough, 4 Chinese V30 from 2008.

I will say that yes, ive seen The other John Browne videos (love them tbh, ty John) as well as Nolly's vids and I do agree with them to an extent. Under a microscope yes, of course. But in a high gain metal situation who gives a crap?

I have had the holy grail 2001 Mesa cabs and they really weren't more amazing then some of the others I've had in the room. I guess my point is, I don't care if they're Chinese v30 from 2008. The best cab I've ever owned also had Chinese V30 mixed with WGS version of the G12T75 (discontinued i believe unfortunately) that may be my next psycho gear nerd quest.

Anyhow I've been looking. A lot..these days you can't even find a single V30 used for under $100 regardless of the year and country of origin. I believe this same cab is at GC right now and it was $440 shipped and also the cheapest cab I've been able to find.

It is a Line 6 cab. I was told by Guitarbilly that these were designed to pair with the Vetta amps and Baltic birch all around. Doesn't matter to me either way. I consider it a score for $161 out the door.

I don't care how old and brittle i get, there is nothing better for guitar than a 4x12.....Except maybe 2 of them or adding a Vector SL or a 2x15 underneath or something who knows.

Scooped up the EL34 Iconic a couple of weeks ago and now I can rock again. Still dialing it in, 1/4 power may be the play tbh. This is full power here.

Most excellent score dude!! You basically got at least 2 and a half free v30s lol

Today I've been playing with two 4x12 cabs side by side, the sounds was enormous in the room.
Think of it like two stereo speakers playing mono content, the sound comes from the phantom center between the two cabs and is much fuller.
Maybe a tad excessive but loads of fun.
