Marshall 4x12 T75

what it's been T75s in the 1960 since day one, greenbacks were mainly to get at a mechanical distortion (25w x 4)

the base standard marshall cab is a T75 4x12 for since half a century, I could say less

@santiall what speaker is Marshall's primary reference when voicing a new amp

This is not true, and almost the opposite of what's true. 1960 cabs pre-date T75's by decades. Speakers increased in power handling because amps were becoming more powerful. 1960's had G12H30's, 65's, M70's etc before T75's came along.

I have G12Hs, T75s, and Seventy80s; they all can be dialed in to get a great tone, they just all have different flavors. I don't think any of them are lacking in any way, just different.

Some small amount of Marshall amps have been voiced for the T75.
hmm, pretty much every amp from the early 90s including the 900 series, the 30th anniversaries, the 2000s, etc. It was the 'de facto' standard cabinet for Marshall. If you asked for a Marshall cabinet you would be given one with T75s. They were making them non-stop in the factory, we always joked/wondered now so many people could be buying 4x12s...

What I found more interesting is that when working with artists and giving them the possibility of choosing any cabinet, both Yngwie and Joe chose the one with T75s. Slash has been with V30s for long time and Kerry King has been using mode 4 cabinets also with some sort of V30.

Today I added an EVH Cab with the EVH Greenbacks.

I added 3 4x12 cabs this month, so I will have to calm down until I get more room, lol.
